The event will provide an informal opportunity for Republican delegates to meet leaders of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Texas and learn more about the organization's work to advance individual rights, limited government and free enterprise within the Republican Party.
"As the conscience of the Republican Party, we will be leading the conversation regarding the future direction of the GOP," said James Peinado, Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Texas. "We are here to ensure the Republican Party supports free markets and an America First foreign policy with fewer foreign entanglements."
Featured Guest: Mike ter Maat
The breakfast will feature Mike ter Maat, who is campaigning for the Republican Party's 2028 vice-presidential nomination. Other prominent guests are expected to be named before the event date.
Ter Maat's campaign advocates empowering Republican convention delegates to select their vice-presidential nominee.
“I look forward to talking to delegates about empowering them to select the next vice-presidential nominee at the 2028 GOP convention," said ter Maat. "The old-fashioned method of deferring to the presidential nominee to make the VP selection alone is bad for our competitiveness and bad for our party."
Ter Maat previously served as a White House economist and in 2024 as the Libertarian Party's vice-presidential nominee.
